What a lifesaver!!!!!! We had a sewer backup/blockage that went into part of our basement. Ronnie was at our home within 1 hour of my phone call. Of course I was frantic and he did everything he could to calm my nerves. He arranged for a plumber and construction company to come over and they were there within 2 hours. Ronnie Jones is a true professional. He’s intelligent, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and helpful. His handling of the flood in my laundry room made my distress evaporate along with the water. He responded to my request for help immediately. When he arrived, he carefully explained everything he was going to do.
Ronnie first took readings to determine where the water was in the walls and floorboards. He then removed almost everything from my laundry room and carefully set it in my dining room on top of a plastic covering. He had to remove the baseboards as well, and he put those in my garage. Then he set up his equipment, which ran for 4 days and completely dried up the water. After that, he returned, removed his equipment, and sprayed everything with a nontoxic product that retards mold.
I was completely satisfied with his services.

We used Fast Help Emergency Service. They did the water remediation. We had an interior faucet shut off valve break and it flooded our basement with fresh water and naturally after three days it becomes polluted water if it sits under the carpet which it did before anybody noticed it. First of all they assessed the degree of water damage. They assessed where the water was, in the carpets, in the walls, in the baseboards and up the walls. They determined the extent of where the moisture was because it wasn’t the entire basement. They set up the machine for drying and de-humidifying for us. They recommended a contractor who does a lot of remediation work in this area. Then they basically dried the basement and everything out. They de-humidified everything. They ran their machine for three days.
We had two companies come in and one was for a second opinion. They were both very good. Fast Help Emergency Service is very good. The guy Ronnie is very good. He came back at no charge later on when we had a later question about an area where we thought there might be some additional water damage. He came out three months after the job. He came out and met the general contractor. The two of them came in and took a look. They determined it was not related to the original problem because it would be an additional insurance plan. He was very helpful and a very proactive guy. He is a picture of enthusiasm. He is very energetic. When you first meet him, it looks like he comes a little strong but once u get used to that, you believe every word he says. He knows what he’s doing. The amount was covered by insurance. We discovered the water on Sunday at noon. Finally on Tuesday afternoon I figured the water wasn’t going to evaporate on its own and so I called the insurance company and then called Fast Help. They said they would be here in half an hour and they were right here on time. We didn’t have sewage, it was just portable water. The next morning we had the insurance adjuster in and Ronnie met him. We will use their services again in the future.

Big big rain brought lots of water in under our sliding glass doors. Carpet was soaked. I sent an e-mail with my contact info and Ronnie called me in just a couple of hours. He arrived within the hour. He used an electronic water finder to determine the area affected, then used a water extraction machine, applied anti-microbial to deter mold growth, then set up a big de-humidifier and 4 huge fans to dry the carpet. The equipment remained for 3 days and thoroughly dried the carpet and the pad underneath. The service was outstanding! Area affected was too small for a homeowner’s insurance claim, so he gave me a very reasonable rate.

Our sump pump failed on a Monday night, and within a couple of hours our finished basement was soaked – water was coming in all around the foundation since water in the drain tile couldn’t drain into the sump, which was completely under water in the sump pit. My husband and son were emptying buckets of water from the pit, and it filled back up as soon as they could empty it. I turned to Angie’s list and found Fast Help. They said we needed a plumber for our particular problem and recommended one. I made a couple of more calls to no avail, then Ronnie from Fast Help called me, saying he kept thinking about us and wanted to be sure we got help. I said no, and he said he had been trying to figure out some way to help us – this was at 11 pm. He said he had a sump he could set up temporarily since the plumber couldn’t help until the morning, and he came to our house at midnight. He set up a sump, got it working, and brought in an industrial dehumidifier / fan – and worked until 2 am. The next day he called and made recommendations to be sure we didn’t grow any mold. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful, and the fact that he called us back to be sure we got help was above and beyond any service we’ve experienced. I recommend Fast Help highly.
Fast Help is perfectly named – they showed up fast, at midnight in the pouring rain, and worked until 2 am to get our basement flooding under control. I was amazed that Ronnie called back so late to be sure we found the help we needed that night, and when he found out we didn’t, he came over in the middle of the night to install a temporary sump pump, stop the flooding, and tell us what to do. They recommended a plumber, who was also very knowledgable. The plumber pointed out some problems with the way our old sump pump was installed, and he’ll correct these things when he installs the new pump.

When I opened the front door at 8:45 PM, after 12 hours away on the MLK holiday, I was greeted by the sound of rushing water. A small water intake hose had broken off the bottom of the toilet tank in the master bath and had been spraying water out into the bathroom and throught the foor into the bedroom for hours. After attending to the shut-off valve, I called Fast Help and they were there within an hour, as predicted on the phone, starting the process of testing the extent of water damage. 30 minutes later, the dehumidifiers and fans arrived and the dry out process was underway by the time they left at midnight. They were back the next day, bringing (w/ my approval) a recommended contractor, who immediately got started on the repairs — taking out the vanity and toilet, pulling up the linoleum from the bathroom floor, and removing sheet rock from the ceiling downstairs (yes, the water ran through the floor, into the basement/garage and flooding out the furnace). Every step of the way, I’ve been kept informed, every service has been performed as predicted and on the timeline predicted. The dry out was completed within about 10 days (slower than is typical because of the cold weather and lack of furnace heat for a few days) and the repair work is continuing as I write this report. The guys from Fast Help were great through it all, very professional, very kind, and very tolerant of my dogs under their feet. I recommend them to anyone in need of such a service, but I wouldn’t wish the need on anybody!

We had an upstairs toilet overflow in the night. Water damage extended from that (upstairs) bathroom to 2 more on lower floors as well as our front entryway. It was a mess. Ronnie tested walls, etc for water damage and set up tents, dehumidifiers and infrared heaters. It took 5 days for it to completely dry. Ronnie responded quickly (within an hour) and checked the process daily around my schedule. He was considerate and reassuring. I hope this never happens again…but I wouldn’t hesitate to call Ronnie if it did. Other than the whole water catastrophe thing, the experience was excellent. The cost was picked by our home owners’ insurance, so I can’t comment on the price

This company dealt directly with the insurance company, so I don’t yet have the details on the price. I do know that they were extremely professional, punctual, clean, and extremely easy to deal with.The sewers in the basement backed up and left a horrible mess. They used lots of driers, dehumidifiers, fans and elbow grease to clean up the mess. They put covers over their shoes every time they went into the basement and never left a mess upstairs or downstairs. They had great communication skills and asked us to complete a recommendation form before they left.

I could not ask for a more professional company. It was a pleasure seeing how a true professional works. It was like night and day compared to your average contractor looking to make a fast buck. I had a leak coming from the kitchen down in to the basement, it’s been going on a while. I was referred to FAST HELP by a plumber, Will, from MATCO. Not only was Ronnie, (can I say my hero?) able to come out the same day…. he helped solve the problem ASAP. He was interested in my needs and was able to offer a solution that not only was easy on the wallet, he was able tell me how I could handle it in the future. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! We had experienced a bad dishwasher install at the hands of an incompetent plumber. A new kitchen floor was about to be put down. The flooring company had taken up old layers of flooring and discovered that mold had formed in several places. The owner of the flooring company decided to consult Fast Help to determine if the area was dry enough to lay down a new floor. If a new floow was put down over any dampness dry we could have had a huge mold problem in the future. Fast Help showed up on the scene quickly, inspected the area and determined it was dry and gave the go-ahead to install the floor. They also provided us with a machine to remove the mold from the air which ran in our home for several days. We were impressed with the speed of service and their concern for our home and our health. We were very happy with the responsiveness and result. We recommend them without reservation.

The previous owner of my house had installed carpet in the basement.
The carpet became wet due to poor drainage around the exterior perimeter.
Mold developed and the carpet needed to be removed without distributing the mold throughout the house.
After the carpet was removed it was determined that the baseboard and some of the drywall needed to come out also
as they contained mold.

Ronnie Jones of Fast Help did an excellent job. He and his partner were very careful in sealing off the basement from the living area
in order to contain the mold to the basement. They removed everything found to have mold on it, HEPA vacuumed and sprayed with a fungicide.
They returned the next day to re-vacuum. The smell of mold was completely gone.
The work was completed quickly & efficiently and in a very agreeable manner.
I would definitely recommend Fast Help or use them again
